A-Z Journal

The brief for this assignment was to produce a
'Personal Typographic Journal' which uses each letter of
the alphabet to visually explain either a typographic term,
a typographer, a material or process, or a font. This also had
to be achieved using only two colours, one of which being black.

Front and Back Cover:
The second colour I chose for the journal was yellow. This is a bright and eye-catching colour, and one popular in journals. The front cover was designed to be attractive and to portray what the journal contains.

Inside Pages:
Each page followed a similar format to the other pages.
Each page made use of the yellow colour by providing a square to include the letter the page was on.
This emphasised the letter itself.
Some pages included the letter making use of the typographic term, the H for example. Imagery was also present to cover up white space and to add to the style of the page.
